A blank poster (2400 x 1800) to add your own Baligha Club details to. Just insert the image into a powerpoint slide, add your text (we recommend using Calibri and the colours used in the headings) and export the finished slide as a jpeg. Alternately, import into Canva to edit as you wish. A Baligha Club banner (2160 x 1080) is also available.

A folder cover which can be printed onto A5 paper and inserted into an A5 folder with a clear display pocket on the front. We use Esselte A5 White Presentation Ring Binders which we purchase here.

Closing circle and Du’a Wahda

We end each Baligha Club with a closing circle, reflecting on what we’ve learnt and will do differently, and then recite Du’a Wahda together. Click here for the closing slides.

To use our free Baligha Party bunting template, all you have to do is print out the template on A4 paper or card, cut the shapes out, hole punch the top of each one and thread onto some ribbon.

Everything a baligha girl needs!

The Baligha Club started in February 2012 to help prepare young girls for the responsibilities of becoming baligha, in a fun and creative way.

A typical Baligha Club starts with registration and refreshments, followed by an ice-breaker and introduction to the themes of the day. We have one or two interactive seminars including discussion and group work activities and after lunch and salaat, we have arts and crafts activities. We end the club with a closing circle reflecting on what we’ve learnt and recitation of Du’a e Wahda.
